Internet technology continues to enhance media production and there is a lot of buzz going around about Live & IP. For this year’s demos at the EBU Network Technology Seminar, we have challenged vendors to prove the state of today’s interoperability for IP-enabled products. We want them to showcase real live workflows in a basic “mini” TV studio!
So what’s the challenge? Multiple vendors working together on one demo to build a mini live production television studio, switching live sources between equipment from different vendors. In addition, vendors are encouraged to demonstrate even beyond these expecations: UHD, discovery and registration, for example. The good news to report: we have already received applications for the challenge and we will be hosting a few of these interoperable Live & IP demos at NTS!
