Tech 3380 v1.0.1
The main change between EBU Tech 3380 v1.0.1 and v1.0 is the addition of two TTML Profiles for Internet Media Subtitles and Captions 1.0.1 (IMSC1) extensions: #fillLineGap and #activeArea. This makes sure EBU-TT-D and IMSC 1.0.1 have excellent interoperability.
Other, smaller changes are:
- An update of the metadata text to bring it in line with EBU-TT part M v1.0.
- Addition in EBU Tech 3380 of a new URI for use in the ebuttm:conformsToStandard element to identify conformance with v1.0.1.
- Error handling now makes explicit that decoders are to ignore unknown attributes.
- Inclusion of EBU-TT Live, the WebSocked Carriage spec and EBU-TT part M in the status overview.
- Minor text clarifications and typo corrections.
- Inclusion of previously published errata.
