The document describes how to change audio levelling from peak normalisation to loudness normalisation in accordance with EBU R 128. Version 4.0 is an extensive update.
The latest version (21 November 2023) has been tidied up editorially, here and there, from that published in early November 2023. Other than this, the content is identical. The version 4 major re-write has occurred in §9, concerning genre and platform specific issues. The figures have been changed to vector format for better clarity.
