This fourth Webinar organised by EBU TECHNICAL aimed to show that the advent of IPTV and internet TV represents a new opportunity for broadcasters both in terms of developing new programme choices and generationg new revenue streams.
Although both IPTV and Internet TV are based on IP protocol, they are different, yet complementary systems. Broadcasters have to work closely with telcos, Internet service providers and consumer electronics manufacturers to make, to develop and implement standardised, interoperable and commercially viable solutions.
