HTML5 is a new generation web language and will supersede HTML 4.01. It is not yet fully defined but most parts have already been standardised by Worldwide Web Consortium (W3C).To this end, we have invited François Daoust from W3C to report on the progress in HTML5 standardisation and explain why HTML5 is so important for broadcasters.
