The annual workplan that defines the EBU's objectives and deliverables in the technical domain was endorsed last Friday in Munich at the Technical Assembly. It had been approved by the Technical Committee (TC) earlier in the week.
The workplan was presented to the assembled delegates by TC chair Arild Hellgren (NRK) and the EBU's Technology & Innovation Director Lieven Vermaele. They explained that the strategic priorities are based on a changing media landscape, which in turn demands that the EBU and its Members should change. The Strategic Programmes (SPs) set out in the workplan cover a wide range of key areas, in both the production and delivery domains. Read more.
