What if you could see where and what our media world will be in five, ten, and fifiteen years into the future? What if you could understand what you need to do now to be in the right place in five, ten and fifteen years time? This first SMPTE Forum on Emerging Media Technologies was intended to help senior managers to do so.
The SMPTE Forum on Emerging Media Technologies, organised in collaboration with the EBU, took place from 13-15 May in Geneva. It provided a unique opportunity for media executives and senior technical staff to share insights into the future of the industry; and, in a world of emerging media challenges, to equip themselves for informed decision-making.
