The EBU Village (stand 10.411) once again hosted its crowd-drawing HDTV demonstrations at IBC 2007. This year's demonstrations showcased the EBU's vision for future HDTV environments through an innovative experiment showing how the future should be progressive scanning, 720p or 1080p, both in production and broadcasting.
Engineers from the EBU's Technical Department as well as EBU Members and partner organisations were available to answer questions on strategic issues facing today's broadcasting industry. The EBU Village also hosted demonstrations from BBC Research, DigiTAG, Digital Radio Mondiale, the IRT and LIVE.
