Gino Alberico (RAI)
 | Gino Alberico joined in 1988 the Research Centre of RAI-Radiotelevisione Italiana, the Italian Public Broadcaster, where he is now Head of the "Study and Research" department.
With his group, he has been involved in the launch of the Digital Terrestrial Television service in Italy, in the deployment of multimedia services and hybrid interactive television applications. He’s also responsible for the current research activities on technologies for the mobile users, like DVB-H, DVB-SH and multimedia services for the DAB+/DMB family.
He is Chairman of EBU Strategic Programme on Broadband Networks and also member of DigiTAG and of DGTVi Technical Group. |
