The EBU Quality Control group and the IMF User Group (IMF UG) jointly organized this webinar on effiicient Quality Control across the Media Supply Chain.
Lifecycle approach
Led by Hollywood, the broadcast industry is slowly moving to a more lifecycle-based approach of content production. This includes (automatically) tracking content defects and the opposite: manually evaluating and marking 'suspicious' content as ‘creative intent’ or acceptable.
By keeping such information along the material during its complete lifecycle, errors and double work can be reduced. In this webinar industry experts will explain how the combination of the SMPTE IMF format and EBU QC Tests can be used for this. This webinar consisted of presentations by panelists followed by a Q&A session driven by the audience.
