Facial recognition technology has become a transformative topic for the media industry. Its ability to enhance search capabilities, analyse content and generate statistical views of large volumes of data is opening up new possibilities for researchers, archivists and storytellers. By responsibly adopting facial recognition technology, media archives can unlock the untapped potential of their collections.
In this webinar, we will explore technologies developed by broadcasters, application-oriented research institutes, and the EBU AI-Benchmarking group. We will pay attention to the benchmarking process and tools and discuss the importance of gallery management, among other topics.
